ABOUT US
We are Vessy and Bibi – women, wives and… mothers, and we were completely unprepared for how intense the recovery from birth would be. Feeling shaken by the bodily transformations, blindsided by the experience, astounded at the lack of credible information available – we decided to dive into women’s health. We created Mamma Box to normalize postpartum care. And to offer mamas a village of support and a place with invaluable evidence-based resources.

OUR MISSION
We often focus on the pregnancy and the health of the baby—which is of the utmost importance—but society typically neglects the mental, physical and emotional wellbeing of new mothers. Like so many areas of women’s health, we don’t talk about female physiology. It’s culturally taboo. But how can we expect society to give us time to recover if nobody knows what’s happening? We deserve better!
